Abstract:
This will be a case study into understanding how the COVID 19 Pandemic raised the awareness of how the important a buildings “health” really is. The presentation shall show the collaborative effort indicating how the H&W assessment helped raised the owner’s perspectives.
It will go through the entire process: Audit assessment, findings, decisions made, and implementation of corrections requiring measurement and verification. The presentation will illustrate, how the assessment and implementation created a better learning environment.

- How understanding that planning, hard work, and communication are the key ingredients to a successful project.
- Discuss what the initial audit & the retro-commissioning uncovered & how that guided the process/project!
- How this project has changed the owner’s outlook on energy and the building’s health & wellness-based projects, and how to proceed going forward.
- Describe any lessons learned from the process that would have made the project better.
